Many Silent Hill fans hated Book of Memories because Konami thought it'll be a good idea to make Silent Hill in a different way away from the Classic 3D third-person shooter that has been in ALL of the Silent Hill games and went for the 'Bird's Eye' view of the game. This turned out to be a huge and costly mistake on Konami's part as they ingored the Classic shooter and made alot of Silent Hill fans angery.
Plus, Book of Memories is a insult to the Vita's 3D portable powerhouse. The Vita has proven that it is capable of making a 3D third-person game. Ninja Gaiden Simga Plus is proof of that. And yet Konami made a mockery of the Vita's 3D power. That's why alot of Silent Hill fans were angry about this because they all know that Konami clearly could do better than that.
Hopefuly, Konami will reliaze what a dumb mistake they made and make the second Vita game a TRUE Silent Hill game and not a 'Fake' Silent Hill game that Book of Memories was.
